CAN JOKER "READ" YOUR CHARACTER? (See "Deductive Reasoning")
IF "YES" WHAT CAN HE SEE?
: He's extremely insecure, but that should be pretty obvious seeing as he talks mostly in passive voice and his entire body language is quite timid. He used to think that people were pretty much good and influenced by bad things, and while he still thinks that, it's wearing away in SP. He's torn between being extremely scared of being left behind by himself (ohei, loneliness issues) and other people being hurt because of him (and that's happened a lot). But he's also extremely loyal and stubborn (like a puppy that won't stop following you even if you kick it around, if he creates a bond with someone) and just a tad gullible as a combination of being
growing up and because this is a new world. Seriously. He's never seen snow before. First time he stepped on dirt, he was eight years old on a field trip-- second time, he was fourteen. He's got, like, no world knowledge except what Lightning's drilled into his head (I'm pretty sure she drilled the 'don't go off with strangers' in his head, though).
IS THERE ANYTHING YOU'D STRONGLY PREFER HE NOT DO AROUND YOUR CHARACTER?
: Mun? Nope, feel free to be creative. Character will probably be DO NOT WANT just being in the same room (but since when do we listen to characters on this?)
ARE YOU WILLING TO ALLOW YOUR CHARACTER TO BE TORTURED?
: Solid yes.
: Pretty much.
: Definitely! That's what being gullible is for.
SO, HE FLIRTS A LOT. IS THAT OKAY?
: Totally! Character will be super awkwardly uncomfortable in-between being terrified.
: He's got a lot of buried ~**
**~ on family, morality, good/bad, killing, etc. But those are buried pretty deep, and if unburied, may come out as explosive RAAAAGE. And Hope's version of rage includes nearly uncontrollable magic (canon), especially seeing as he tends to not use and hide his magic most of the time here. Fourteen's a great age for hidden pent-up rage, man.
